Terms and Conditions for Applying as an Official Race Photographer
Applicant Qualifications
1. Applicants must be 18 years old or above.
2. Applicants with experience in sports photography, running events, or outdoor events will be given special consideration.
3. Applicants must have a camera and equipment ready for use and be able to shoot continuously throughout the race period.
4. Applicants must be able to travel to the assigned photography location by themselves.
5. Applicants must be responsible, punctual, and able to comply with the rules set by the organizer.
Photographer Responsibilities
1. Attend the pre-race briefing, either online or onsite, before the race day.
- Attend the first online briefing on July 10, 2026.
- Attend the second online briefing on July 20, 2026.
2. Register and collect the photographer identification pass before entering the assigned working area.
3. Be stationed at the photography point assigned by the organizer.
4. Capture photos of runners, race atmosphere, sponsors, and other activities as assigned.
5. Do not obstruct the race route or create any risk to runners or event participants.
6. Dress appropriately and wear the photographer identification pass at all times while on duty.
Photo File Submission
1. Photos must be submitted as high-quality JPEG files and meet the image size requirements specified by the organizer.
2. Lighting, color, and crop should be adjusted appropriately.
3. Do not add watermarks, logos, or text to the photos.
4. All photos must be submitted within 24-48 hours after the race, or within the timeframe specified by the organizer.
5. Photos must be selected and given basic color and lighting adjustments before being uploaded to the system.
6. Submitted photo files must not be duplicated, blurry, damaged, or unusable.
Copyright Terms
1. The copyright of the photos remains with the photographer.
2. The organizer has the right to use the photos for event promotion and related activities.
3. Photographers may use the photos as part of their personal portfolio, provided that it does not affect the rights of the organizer.
4. Photographers are not allowed to sell or distribute the photos to third parties without permission from the organizer.
Rules and Prohibited Conduct
1. Do not enter restricted areas or areas not permitted by the organizer.
2. Do not obstruct the race route.
3. Do not move or interfere with the organizer's equipment.
4. Do not use drones without written permission from the organizer.
5. Do not smoke or consume alcoholic beverages while on duty.
6. The organizer may immediately revoke the working rights of any photographer who violates the rules.
7. Do not sell photos from the event without permission.
8. Do not publish any photos that may damage the image or reputation of the event.
Application Documents
1. A portfolio of 10-20 sample photos, such as Google Drive, Facebook Album, or Website.
2. Phone number and contact channels.
3. Portfolio link, such as Facebook Page, Google Drive, or Website.
4. Camera brand and model used.
5. Experience in running event photography, if any.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on portfolio quality, equipment suitability, and experience.
Selected photographers will receive details of their assigned photography locations and schedule before the race day.
Revocation of Photographer Working Rights
The organizer may immediately revoke the working rights of a photographer in any of the following cases:
1. Failure to comply with the rules and regulations.
2. Late submission of work.
3. Causing damage to participants or to the image of the event.
4. Inappropriate behavior while on duty.
5. The organizer's decision shall be final.
Photo Publication and Sales Conditions
Photographers granted permission to participate in the event must upload all photos to the organizer before publishing them on public media. Photographers must also refrain from posting the same photo set for sale in competition with the event's main sales channel for 30 days after the race day.
Photo Management System
All photographers must upload runner photos through the Yala Marathon photo management system only, within the specified timeframe. File naming and uploading must follow the format instructed by the organizer.
Photo Price for Runners
The selling price for runner photos is set at 50 baht per photo.
Purpose of the Photo Management System
This photo management system is created to provide convenience for runners, allowing them to search for and access their photos easily, quickly, and in a standardized manner.
